Karen and Jeremiah Smith are the owners/founders of Rocket Cheerleading Inc & Gym Trix Inc.   Karen has been involved in competitive cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance for over 25 years.  Karen is USA gymnastics safety certified, 1st aid certified, and CPR infant/child/adult certified, and is a professional member of USA gymnastics and IDEA.  Karen and Jeremiah (husband) run Gym Trix and Rocket Cheerleading as well as have 2 children Darian and Garrett.  Gymnastics and Cheerleading Classes are offered not only through their state of the art gymnastics/cheerleading gym in Alpine, CA but they also hold the contract to the City of La Mesa, and the County of San Diego, Lakeside Recreation Center.  Teaching Children the love and skills of athletics is not the only goal they share, but teaching children values and encouragement they can use their entire lives in everything they try. 

Owner

This is Lindy's 11th year with Rockets and 6th year as the Rocket cheerleading director.  Lindy has been cheering since the age of 9.  Lindy cheered 3 years pop warner, 2 years high school, 4 years college, and 2 years on a pro team.  Lindy was an all-american and 2nd year member of the all-star national team.  Lindy is CPR and 1st Aid Certified.  Lindy also attends the GSSA conference and judges numerous COA cheerleading competitions.  

This is Dionne's 6th year coaching for Rocket Cheer.  Dionne has been involved in competitive cheer for 6 years, danced for 8 years and is also coaching gymnastics for Gym Trix.  Dionne is 1st Aid and CPR certified. 

Greta  has been with Rockets for 8 years.  This is her 3rd year coaching the Tiny and Mini Teams.  She also currently cheers on our Senior Team.  Greta also teaches tumbling classes at GymTrix.

Shea graduated SDSU in 2004 with a bachelors in Child and Family Development.  She has been coaching competitive cheer for11 years. This is her 5th year coaching for Rockets. Shea cheered four years in high school, four years in college.  Shea was an SDSU cheerleader and a four year all american cheerleader.  She holds national and state championships. 

Beth has been with GymTrix and Rockets since it started in 1996.  She is first aid and CPR certified.  Beth's husband's name is Dave and they have two children, Austin (12) and Justin (9).
